It depends a lot on where you’re traveling. East of Mississippi the rv parks are almost countless. Passport America is well worth the price of admission for the 50% off.
If you’re far enough west of the Mississippi, maybe 300-500 miles and don’t require water and electric you can just pull off on a wide spot on the road, especially if you’re not using interstates. Campendium is a great free ap. It will give you lots of info on tons of places to stop. If you
consider boondocking an extra battery can help a lot. If you really get hooked a small generator is very good. For the basket cases like us, solar, generator and lots of big batteries can put you in some amazing places for extended periods.
