Living all year in a RV in extreme winter conditions you will experience in the Northeast and Midwest is a challenge for a seasoned RVer. It is difficult if not impossible for a new RVer. I don't recommend it.
If you think you will be saving money by not living in an extended stay hotel, you are fooling yourself. The cost of propane and electricity will be high, and could be life threatening when the heat fails, or carbon monoxide fills the trailer.
Don't do it!
