Had TT, Fivers, and our MH. The people who say you get more room in a Fiver isn't true. We have more room on our MH than the three 40' fivers we've owned with the floor plan we have. I don't mind the driving area as I call it my sun porch. Makes for a nice view you don't get in most fivers and the seat is real comfortable. So for us it's not wasted space. Storage isn't even comparable, the MH wins hands down.
Our insurance is actually slightly cheaper with the motorhome & toad as we got rid of the dually & fiver and already had the toad. Gas usage is slightly more in the MH but it works out too be a better deal because the gas mileage with the toad is way better than the dually when driving around after we get to the campground.
Setup is a little faster (much easier) with the MH, but if you don't hookup to services it's way faster and you don't even need to leave the MH if you don't want to. For us staying a long time or moving frequently doesn't matter to us either way. Maintenance isn't much more with the MH.
