One thing to remember is floor plans. Fifth wheels do seem to offer more room in the living areas. Most fifth wheels (of size) are now coming with kitchen islands and a lot more counter space. They also offer things like fireplaces, sofas, recliners and etc. While there may be some class a's out there that may offer that space and items, you are going to pay dearly for it.
If you are looking for value( more bang for your buck) then a fifth wheel is probably the best bet. But if you are looking to save money, as someone mentioned, a TT could be a good choice as well.
