Livability of the %th wheel may be a little better but for travel I would stick with the MH. We have found ourselfs depending on the security of the MH during rest stops you do not need to g et out of your rig to take a nap or eat lunch. Cost over all probably is close enough one way or the other not to mak much of a difference.. One last thing in our Camping club I have seen many 5th wheels break spring shackles and sustain damage when motor home have not suffered. the frames on MHs are much beefier and for the most part I feel tha MH are built better
