I too always pick the parts of the campgrounds that may mix in all the different types of camping... Westmoreland State Park here in VA handles this quite well...
I am usually at the last 120VAC Electric site down the roll of camp sites and lots of of tent sites down this road and even up behind me...
Sometimes I have run into where the bigger trailers are sort of frowning on the smaller trailers being close to them but it is rare. Most campers get along just fine together...
The bigger sites are usually close to the main roads and tend to only have RV TRAVELERs in them... I usually don't stay at these places haha... People coming and going all hours of the day and night...
X2 on using GOOGLE to look down at the campe sites. I'm always looking for full tree cover like the ELKMONT sites in the Smoky Mtns has... You see the main site road therr just around where you check-in the rest is covered with trees big time haha...
