NuWay (Hitchhiker brand) and Carriage (and a few other small manufacturers) used to build high quality fivers, at prices 50-100% above mass market models, but they've pretty much disappeared during the recession. But both also made lower grade lines to more competitive price points, and the Carriage name was bought by Forest River, so even if you decide to shop the used market for something 10 years old, you need to know just what you are looking at.
