Who Makes Quality 5er

Hello I am on the hunt for a FW and have read a lot of blogs on here that say that throw-out the RV industry, rv manufactures have turned to quantity vs quality, and there are very few quality rvs being made. Most have said the change has happened in the last 10 years. So with all that said I am looking for a 5er. So is there a quality builder still out there or should I try to find a lightly used 10 year old rig ha ha.... Anyway are there any recommendations on which mfgrs. are good now?? Thanks, Lee

    one thing to know is building rv's is not rocket science. anyone can work on them, they are built as cheap as possible and some are worse than others. we were working on a forest river one day and our tech put his hand on the wooden wall of the bathroom and fell into the bathroom. the wall gave way and in he went. we had to go to the lumber yard and get new material. one good thing is the wall was better after the fall than before

    You will find someone that has a problem with any manufacturers... it seems as though they may have good weeks and or bad weeks with a lot of them have an only bad weeks

    In my opinion all rv's have to be made out of the lightest material that will travel down the road and stay together for a few years, then things start to happen. If the owner is up to the task of inspecting, repairing, inspecting and repairing any one of them will last quite a while. My choice is " Outdoors RV " they are made in the north west so it would be a long trip from Florida, so look @ their web site and compare construction. JMHO
