Our Class C is spoiled - it lives in one of our heated garage bays here at work.
The pros: we finally replaced the 9-yr-old tires "just because". Needless to say they looked really good. The motorhome looks good - still nice and shiny. No winterizing needed.
The cons: it's still depreciating, no matter how nicely it's stored. If we wanted to sell it - how much extra would someone pay for a creampuff? $1000 extra?? I'm sure the additional taxes/insurance on that extra service bay don't justify the "higher selling price".
But it's convenient as heck - so we'll keep doing it.
Re storing outside in winter weather: my neighbor has a Class C - and he shrink-wraps the roof and down about 16" on each side. No flapping cover; and he can still go in an out. Works pretty good, IMO!
