Who parks their RV at home or do you pay for storage?

Have zero room at my house. Do have a highschool parking lot across the street that is great for short term parking. Would love to be able to park it there the night before camping and keep it plugged in to cool off frig.. As it is I would have to run a cord across the road and that wouldn't last long. Anyway, I park it in a storage yard about 5 minutes away. $33 a month uncovered as of now.. not too terribly bad.
