Who parks their RV at home or do you pay for storage?

Newbie here - just wondering what you all do regarding the mouse/pest problem with a stored RV? How do they not just take them totally over?

Before moving into our camper full-time it was stored on our land for a few months and the mice were constantly in it even w/out food stored in it. I had a part-time job setting mouse traps. After moving in and getting settled we made multiple trips to the SPCA and have a fearsome cat patrol - needless to say mouse problem evaporated.
