Has anyone changed their ww from 28 inches to a larger length? Mine do not while windshield high enough for me. Should the extra length be too much stress on motor ? And could u just change the length...

Make sure that the wipper blade does not touch on the upper end and also the bottom end, as long as they are on the glass and do not hit any part of the frame you will be OK, try not to run them dry for too long and run them intermittent as much as possible, if you need to adjust the travel you can always loosen the nut and reposition the arm.
