Guess what... The Triton V-10 "screams like a banshee" in pickups too. It's just the nature of a high revving engine. We have no regrets about buying a Class A with the Triton engine, just as we had no regrets about our previous 460 V-8 powered Class A. The V-10 and tranny gearing combination in our F-53 chassis has gotten us everywhere we've wanted to go, with minimal slow downs on steeper hills. Since we, like all RV'ers, spend far more time living in our coach than we do driving it, the motive power source is proportionally less important to us than the floor plan and overall "liveability" of the coach. Oh, and our 34' coach only weighs about 10 tons, not 15... ;)
