I bought a igloo 100qt Cooler for under $60 that we use for liquids (Milk, Cans, bottles, creamer, juice, etc) and watermelon along with other items that are cooler friendly. I generally can get 5 days between adding ice and on the 5th day, generally still have floating cubes and 30 something degree water in the cooler.
I use gallon milk jugs filled and frozen as my block ice in each corner.
I always make sure it's in the shade.
And I cover with a Reflective Blanket that I had left over from my popup days. I used to use them over the tent ends on the popup and they made a huge difference in the temps inside the popup so when I went to a TT, I found this use. Obviously, reflective side outside instead of intended use.
Just a tip for those on a budget. Has worked for me for years and I'm generally the last in my group to need ice or need less than my friends.
