We did go to Yosemite in March last year. The house batteries were as supplied in our formerly owned MH. As it turned out one of the batteries failed during the freezing weather. Night temperature was about 32 F. We couldn't keep the batteries charged from the on-board generator during the limited times we could legally run the generator and we decamped one day ealier than planned.
I had serviced all the batteries before leaving for the trip and they all were holding a good charge at that time. Unfortunately I didn't really know how old the batteies were.
Back home I had the batteries checked at Autozone and had to buy a replacement for one. I still have the other so it may have to be replaced sometime this year.
At the same time we needed to run the heater system on propane and it worked quite well.
We did need chains coming in from Fresno, but on the day we left that road was closed so we went by way of Merced, much lower elevation but a longer drive.
