OP here. Thanks all. I guess it'll remain one of the unsolved mysteries of my life.
Didn't get it for a hose reel, don't have, need, or want one.
Blackwater tank flusher hookup is female.
Same for the freshwater connection.
Don't have, never had, a wastewater tote.
The water filter we use has male-female connections, ensuring correct flow direction.
Washer hookup that short and female-female? Never saw one. Home washer hoses both male-female.
I guess I'll throw it out. Sure thing that within an hour after they empty the dumpster I'll have a critical need for it!
