Correct but 2 six volt batteries will not power a heavy load through a inverter. You are better off running the generator and skip the inverter. Your camper should have a charger built in so all you have to do is plug in to the generator and it will charge the batteries although it will take awhile. You might want to look into solar to keep the batteries maintained while your not there and use the generator for heavy loads.
