My DW and I buy good specialty coffees for our camping trips as a small additional treat. We check out the sales at our local grocery stories stocking the RV for the trip. We both enjoy dark roasts such as Italian, Seattle, and Vienna blends from Green Mountain and Eight O'clock along with store brand fresh ground beans. We use an inexpensive Black n Decker drip coffee maker that stays set on our counter top on top of a no slip mat from the Dollar Store. We feel like a Folgers commercial that you can't beat the smell of a good strong pot of coffee brewing in the morning to get your day started. Two of my SIL's use French presses but neither of us think their coffee compares to our drip maker. When we are without electric we we'll just start the generator, make the coffee and then pour it into an insulated carafe. I do carry my old campfire pot with us to make over an open fire after dinner just to get the "roughing it" feeling once in a while, lol!
