Quartzsite has some excellent ATV riding, from flat desert to steep winding mountain trails. The trails are on BLM, state and Indian lands and each has a different set of rules, so make yourself aware of the various rules. If you normally carry while riding, stay off Tribal lands. If your ATV is registered in your home state AND your state has reciprocity with AZ, you are good to go. If not, AZ has NO provision for a temp permit and there is NO way you can register them in AZ as a non resident. We enjoy the riding there.
Personally, I prefer UT to AZ for riding. We ride the UT Paiute Trail system, 2200+ miles, every couple of years and IMO, it is much better trails and much more scenic than Q. We will be going to the Richfield UT ATV jamboree this Sept for a week. Have ridden the Marysvale UTV/ATV Jamboree several times and had a ball.
