? Shocks

Need help. I have a 2000 Newmar Dutch Star model 3858. I like to do most of my own work on it. I want to put new shock on, but have no idea what to get. Every site wants to know chassis number. All I know is a Spartan chassis. Can anyone tell me where to find the additional info required to buy a set of Shocks. I already know what name brand I want, just not what style shock I need.

    Brian .... which Bilsteins would you have gotten?

    I agonized over that just before I went with Koni FSD shocks, because:

    Firm Bilsteins would have made the up/down ride of our Class C worse.

    Soft Bilsteins would have made the right/left sway of our Class C worse.

    To each their own , I wish I DIDN"T get the Koni's and stayed with Bilstein's ! Not impressed with the Koni's one bit...

    Give E Shocks a call, Their staff is very knowledgeable and can answer all your questions,what ever it may be. They will know what will work in any application.

    Since Newmar is still in business, why can't you call them with your VIN and have them provide the chassis number?
