Ours is aluminum, yes I know all about the "dangers", but we bought ours back over 30 years ago and it had heavy use for many years and not so much others. When we tent camped it was on the stove first thing in the morning and on the edge of the fire all day and into the night.
We still use it sometimes when dry camping so we don't have to fire up genset.
Nothing beats the smell of perking coffee and bring back the old Maxwell House adds with the perking sounds! :B
