Most if not all RV Parks, won't allow you to have an RV Tech work on the outside of your rig. So that's not it. It's the looks of a 10+ year old rig, they're substandard in many cases.
The last RV park we stayed in at Branson, MO had a 10 year rule.
The guy behind the check in desk asked how old is your RV and I told him it was 15 years old. It was parked in front of his window so he looked up at it and says it looks new.
We stayed a week.
The folks down a few sites from us had a RV tech for 2 days at their site working on something inside.
IMO the 10 year rule is about looks as the person behind the desk didn't ask about appliances or anything inside the trailer.
