12 volt coffee makers is the any good reason to own one?

If you need more than one or two cups, just put whatever you need (in my case about 12 cups) of water in a pan on the stove and drop in one of the coffee pods. Make as strong as you like and remove the pod. Works great unlike the 12volt pot.
