Yeah, and 85 amps will suck the life out of a standard group 24 camper house battery in, oh, something like 15 or 20 minutes tops. Just about enough time to make ONE pot o' brew. Not good.
I agree with everyone else. Propane is the way to go. Trying to make coffee with electricity while off the grid is a losing proposition, whether you try it with a 12v coffee maker or a 120 volt one on an inverter. Either way, you are not going to like the results. Propane, however, delivers the goods. While you are still young enough to enjoy them.
