Yep, I was looking at one on Amazon, its claim to fame was it made 16oz of coffee in "under 15 minutes". No thanks.
I use either a perk pot (use a
stove diffuser under it for best results) or a pour through system with an insulted carafe. Just boil the water in a pot/pan and pour though, makes enough for 2 addicts and keeps it hot for quite a while.
The pour though is actually just a Krupps carafe with a filter on top, when we have hookups it doubles as a programmable pot to the brew is ready for us when we get up.
