Ah I remember those days.. Somehowe DD managed to make it to nearly 34 years of age in spite of her driving skills (professional driving school, not a public school driver's ed course like I took). I fully expect her to make it to 35 in about 2 months.. and to become "Mommie" herself a few months later.
Now you have choices,,, My daughter saved her coin and contributed to her first car, I think I made the down payment on her 2nd car, she paid the rest (I covered insurance for her though) and her 3rd car was all hers.. Sadly it got totaled (not her fault) when an illegal rear ended her and put the taxi driver in FRONT of her waiting to make a left turn in the hospital. And things after that I've lost track of.. She currently drives a STICK SHIFT (WOW) had to teach her how to do that on hills though last spring when she came up to visit.
(no hills where she lives).
Don't worry.. She will bring it back alive.
Of course, if your daughter is like mine.. She did have one accident.. Seems she was doing exactly what she should be doing and the guy in the left lane decides to break the law.. So he turns right intending to cut through a parking lot in order to avoid a traffic control device and turned right into her car.
Now, save for his intentions, that is more or less how she told it, I was at the scene and saw the physical evidence, as was the investigating officer, and that's how I saw it, it's also how he saw it.. In short, Darling Daughter told it as it happened.. She's a very good darling daughter.
