Not that it matters at this point but, I have a 1999 Honda CRV. It does rack up miles while being towed. It has 165.000 miles on it now and runs perfect. I plan to keep it pretty much for the rest of my life. IMHO the only thing you need to do is start it at every gas stop and run the transmission through the gears. I just leave it hooked up to the RV and hold the brake while selecting the gears (automatic, 4x4). I do drain and fill the transmission about once a year. That's just 3 quarts but, it keeps the fluid looking good and red. Only allow Honda transmission fluid to be used in your CRV. Otherwise, the CRV can be towed for very many miles.
