8mpg when towing is what I get as well towing our nearly 10K# 32' TT, we do get anywhere from 12-14mpg not towing depending on how heavy my foot is at the time. HD trucks with gas engines all pretty much get the same mpg when towing, you have to pay if you want to play.
Our TV is dedicated to towing and just sits in the garage awaiting duty, does a great job and is paid off to boot. Total waste of money for us to get a diesel as we would never realize any savings and we don't plan to get anything heavier in the future.
