Look in the drivers door jamb for a yellow sticker, will state something like "Passengers and cargo should not exceed "XXXX"lbs. What is that amount, maybe 1900lbs or so?

The 5ver's DRY PIN WEIGHT alone is stated as 1780lbs, before anything is loaded inside, and before the hitch is mounted in the bed, so you will be over your GVWR and probably your RAR (rear axle rating) once loaded up and all passengers are in the truck. Definitely in 25/3500 truck territory with this one.

From what I found on the 320bhds the dry hitch weight is about 800lbs, so this is possibly within the trucks capability depending on how many passengers are in the truck (and what their total weight is), and how much you load in the bed of the truck.

That is pretty neat that is a option my real issue is which will be better for my truck, the guys at work tell me a fifth wheel is so much easier to hook up and pulls so much better

Yes it is a crew cab only come in length Chevy calls it 5ft3/4 bed

I take it your bed is shorter than the standard 6 1/2 ft.

With the short bed the tt is the only option. You would not be able to mount the fifth wheel for proper weight distribution or turn the fiver without hitting the cab. The pin weight would also exceed your payload capacity.
