2011 GMC 2500HD, more extension than stock towing mirrors..

Has anyone found that the towing mirrors are not quite out far enough to see down the side of the trailer? Is there an aftermarket mirror or add-on that gets another inch or two? I'm glad I don't have the 8.5' wide trailer.. I can see the traffic fine, just would like to see along the trailer better..

    Look at the Fit System mirrors at Amazon. I have them and they are awesome. They look like stock mirrors. They are heated, have the turn arrow and you control them just like you do your OEM mirrors.

    Mine is an '11 GMC 2500HD & honestly, I don't need to pull mine out all the way to see down the side of my 8' wide trailer. I can even lower it & see the tires if I need to. Have you checked to see if your mirrors are pushed all the way out. I don't mean the extension portion but opposite than pulled in for a car wash, pushed all the way out to the stop.
