2012 GMC Sierra / Size of TT?? (NEWBIE)
Looking for opinions from some experienced people. Have a 2012 GMC Sierra 4x4 Ext.Cab. 143.5 WB, 5.3 L, 3.42 gears, with tow package.. Manual States That I Can Pull 9600 lbs. Wife Wants a Big Trailer...

Have the same truck but a Silverado and tow just over 5K ready to go sometimes more when have to carry full water. Think you'll be fine even up 27-28 if you don't go over 7K. The 3.42 gears work well with the 6 sp trans much better than the old 4 gears. Have been over thre Rockies and back twice with this set up and had no problems. Grade retard is super.
