2014 grand cherokee charge line needed?

Question

I am setting up a 2014 grand cherokee for dinghy towing. I am using a Patriot Brake system. On my prior setup, I found the need for a charge line to prevent the battery from discharging too much. The grand cherokee has an AGM battery located under the passenger seat. I am just wondering if it is worth the hassle of trying to run a charge line. Has anyone with this setup found the need. Additionally it has a requirement to start and run the engine to air up the suspension every so often. I guess the battery will charge a bit if I have to do that.

I pulled a 2012 GC Overland (air suspension) for about 8000 miles using a RVi brake system. Never had any issue with the battery going dead or the air bags deflating. I suppose if you were in traffic where the brake system operated a lot then you might run the battery down. I haven't pulled my 2014 yet but I am sure it will be the same.

I am planning to go without the charge line for now and I can always add it later if I feel that it's necessary.

I have gone three days without starting the Jeep. I unplug the brake unit while I am in the campsite so there is no battery draw.
My RVi2 brake systems monitor has a towed vehicle low battery indicator.
