The manual for the Colorado is on line @ Chevrolet.com. It is not a final print but here is what it says about dinghy towing:
"Only dinghy tow four-wheel-drive
vehicles with a two-speed transfer
case that have an N (Neutral) and a
Four-Wheel Drive Low (4 (
n) setting"
I would not take that as Gospel without a written confirmation from GM. But sounds like it will be fine.
