I find it interesting that the manual says to disconnect the black battery cable. I did not know that was required. We are looking to replace our Fusion with an Edge. I know you should follow the manual but I am curious to know if everyone is actually disconnecting the battery or using a charge wire to keep the battery charged. Any help would be appreciated.
