2016 explorer 4x4
Some say to tow 4 down you need to disconnect the negative on battery. That requires a reset of radio,locks,and clock. Any suggestions to by pass this?

I realize the my 2004 Ford Explorer is a totally different year.
However, I tow it four down (4&4 version) and do not disconnect the battery. I had a similar question when I started towing it, but decided to just see. I Have towed it about 10,000 miles, and for weeks at a time with no indication of any discharging of the battery.
