Ford explorer 4x4

Although only a 2014 we tow a 4x4 automatic 4 down. Suspect the 15 will be the same. Start engine, place shift selector in neutral, turn engine off. Since the selector is in neutral key will only go to first position. We found that unlike the previous 2008 Explorer we towed this unit has way too much stuff still drawing on the battery and if you don't run a charge line to the toad you will have a dead battery way earlier than they say you will. Don't know about the 15 but on the 14 the ecoboost model was not towable.
