2016 Ford Ranger

WE winter in Mexico and were at Costco in Hermosillo today. It was a zoo on the parking lot. As we were leaving a sexy looking truck approached. With all the traffic I caught a short glimpse of a truck I could not identify. As it got closer I could see the "Ford Ranger" badge. All I can say is WOW. It was gorgeous. I am going to a Ford dealer in Mexico next week to get a brochure. We hope to buy a new toad within 10 months and this would certainly make my short list. IF it can be towed. I understand it will be released in Canada and the USA some time next year. Any Ford lovers have further info??

  • If you try to import it into the People's Republic of California you may be getting a rude surprise. We have draconian rules and regulations to go with the stricter polution laws, possibly causing you many $$$ to retrofit.
  • That sounds interesting to hear about that truck in Mexico.

I wonder if they will be able to import them to America? I guess it should be possible to drive a non-USA compliant vehicle in the United States as long as you are residing in another country, or the vehicle is registered in a country that it is compliant in that country... .

It would be much better to see some pictures, I hope that you take a few at the Ford dealership, and include the GVWR and cargo rating if you can get them!

    Thanks for posting some pictures!

    Fred.
