One more thing. If you go for a drive in pretty much any Electric vehicle, if the battery is over 90 percent you will feel very little regeneration. This is because the battery controller senses that the battery is almost full and there is no where to put the energy created by regen. I say this so that if you are not sensing regen and you don't know why...THIS IS WHY. I have not met a salesperson that is up on this kinda knowledge so try and be pre-educated. TESLA's are another story and the staff (there are no sales people at the viewing centres) are well informed because of course EV's are all they sell.
Here is mu favourite picture of our leaf. The colour is Culis Red and is available in the 2018's as well. I think it would be a good Toad but like I say you'll have to dolly it. We are fine with Dollys but for the time being we'll tow the smart on a trailer. When we retire and replace our Leaf with a Tesla (or maybe another leaf) this is the colour we'll get.
