20K and 2.5 yr fight secures a win over HOA for RV parking

This is not a HOA issue but rather a zoning issue in Jefferson Parish. Our daughter lives in Metairie in Jefferson Parish where we wintered this year. When we purchased our new MH in February in Alabama, we parked it in our daughter's (very long) driveway for three weeks before we returned home to Ohio in March. The day before we left, a zoning inspector came to the house and asked, "What's the deal with the motor home?" I said, "It will be gone tomorrow." The zoning guy said, "Works for me.", turned around and left.
We had parked a motor home there before in the past but only for a couple days and never got asked about it.
