I have a 240V outlet and dryer ordered in our MS. So if we need to dry clothes and are in a 30A site the Generator will run while the clothes dry!
Be aware that most RV gensets do not output 240 volt power, and you have to go big or commercial to get that.
My new MS on order will have a CUMMINS/ONAN 6500 propane gen installed. I was told that would run most of the rig.
It will, but it will not run a 240 volt appliance- it puts out 120 volts only (though it is 6500 watts of 120 volts).
You could spec a commercial set, but you would pay more and have a much shorter warranty.
You are probably getting this rv model (the 6.5 LP version- note the 120 volt output).
This commercial model has a couple of versions that do 120/240. Personally, I would stick with the RV model, and forgo doing drying unless you have 50 amp service.

This PDF shows that the CUMMINS/ONAN 6500 generator is a true 120v/240v generator. Of course, that is for a gas powered model, but I doubt that changing the fuel source would alter its power output.
