303 wax Do you have any short cuts?

303 makes a Speed Detailer designed for use on all surfaces. I tried it two years ago when it first came out. The local distributor gave me a bottle. I have used it on my car and motorhome for the last two years. It works great, cleans the surface and puts on a light coat of 303 protectant. After I wash the car and dry it, I spray it on and wipe it off with a microfiber cloth. Nothing sticks to the surface. It is easy enough to use every time I wash the car. Takes maybe 15 minutes max. I do the same with the motorhome. Wash it. If I have any stubborn black streaks, they usually come right off when I wash it. If not, I use the Bar Keepers Friend on them while I ' m washing. I let it dry, sometimes overnight and use the speed detailer on the whole thing. I do it 3-4 times a year. I can do the 30 ft. C in about 1 hour. The hardest part is going up and down the step ladder.

A little wax on the decals won't hurt, but the 303 is made as a protectant for decals, plastic, etc., and works quite well on all exterior vents, covers, valves, TIRES, and "like" stuff.

I use it all over my boat, and on all of my tires. I use it on the dash of the MoHo, and all my boat seats.

My Jeep Seat covers came with a little bottle of 303, which should say something.........

But it ain't wax.

It'll make anything look good, until it rains, and then it's gone.

That said, I use it to make my boat look good, my old Jeep look good, and my Moho decals look good.

I also believe that it may extend the life of tires, but can't prove it. My six year old Miche's look new!

For those that use it on their decals, do you then just wax over it / the rest of the side walls?

Can you then apply more 303 over the wax in the future?

X2- 303 is for decals and soft materials like rubber and vinyl. It is not a wax!

It's great for tires too.

I use a random orbital buffer and buff until dry. On the roof I use a swiffer type mop and buff until dry. On the tires I wet them down, let it soak for 10 minutes and wipe off the excess.

If your doing the sides of your RV use a wax with carnuba in it.

No shortcuts. That's why I've done the whole RV only once, now use the 303 on the few parts most susceptible to UV damage. Now the RV gets treated to "wash and wax" several times a year.

303 is still much less work than trying to do the whole RV with a "buff it off" car wax. I use NuFinish on the painted parts (cab of a C), the idea of regularly waxing the whole thing keeps me away from full body paint.
