3500lbs vs 5200lbs trailer question

Here is snap shot and little more info. Numbers from GM manual. Van should be lighter than 6600 we pulled 2 rear bench seats out they were not lite. This would be loaded with everything which would not be the norm. 99% of the time it is just one kid 2 bikes and wife. Other 2 kids moved out. Southwest so we are driving through mountains.

Both are tandem axle.
