Congrats on your mission and we share your passion. We been in all 50 states and over 75 countries. We've Para sailed in Switzerland and Jackson Hole...zipped in ID and have a 500' one in our backyard across a lake. You can balloon in a lot of places beside Albuquerque.
I would leave off most of the places after Moab...not sure what's worth seeing in Lubbock and instead. head back through CO. I would plan on doing the SW on another trip.
We did 7000 miles, 20 states in 58 days last summer requiring us to only stay two day in most places...not what we normally do which is five days and then move and resupply on the weekends. Made the mistake of wanting to see CA one last time.
Wife did a Travel Blog for 10 years but Face Book has pretty much replaced it.
