I think many of these ideas are in the category of "if he wanted that, he'd already have it".
Cookware, carpets, flashlights, wrenches, etc., are standard "RV gear". He's going to already have cookware and finding something a bit different (like the pie irons, etc.) is going to be hit or miss - some people love them, some people never use them.
Most people with an RV have wandered through a CampingWorld at least 10 times and have seen all the usual culprits for RV gear. How about items that help organize things in the RV (rather than more stuff to organize)?
I picked up this
battery holder and it fits almost perfectly in a
slim packing cube (the large cube). It keeps all my spare batteries neat and easy to access - and I always have a battery when I need one. The cubes stack nicely. The small slim cube is great to hold all the charging cords for cell phones, kindles, etc. My "junk drawer's" contents are now confined in a cube - no more fighting to get it all back in the drawer.
The non-slim large cube can easily hold an extension cord, dogbones, etc. Or the fresh water hose(s) - and it allows the hose to breathe and dry out.
