$50 Christmas Gift

Several years ago our family decided to stop the ridiculous exercise of trying to find inexpensive gifts for the adults. Instead, each year a different branch of the family nominates three charities, expounds the virtues of each and by vote of everyone present one is chosen and a group contribution is made. We suggest $25.00 maximum per adult, however some of us (wink wink) break the rules. This past year Heifer International got a very nice check from the Westernrvparkowner family. The vetting of the various charities is one of the few holiday activities I actually look forward to.
Hopefully, someone of this forum will think this is a great idea and some worthy charity will have their coffers filled instead of the Junk Drawer in the RV.
