Not true, you only have 50 amps...period, total.

6/4 SOOW is $2.50/ft at Wire and Cable Your Way plus shipping.

Cable ends (14-50) are going to be about $30-$40 each.

I decided to make up an extension cord when we bought our MS. I bought 30' of SOOW from "Wire and Cable your way" and put ends on it. I love it because I don't have to wrestle with that cable in cold weather! VERY flexible! :B

I have had to use the extension cord three times since making it up.

If I needed a 50 amp cord, Id go to Home depot and get some sjoow/soow cord and make my own. I love the flexibility of it.
