I guess the 55 plus parks in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas have a different take. My park is 55+ BUT children are allowed to stay for two weeks. Most but not all rent sites for either the entire year or the winter season. There would be a revolt if the renters could not bring in their grandchildren for short visits. Many of us older folks enjoy seeing the kids. Almost all of them appear during winter and spring school breaks. Our park has RC race cars, computers, tennis, pickle ball, shuffle board, 2 pools, billiards and a few other activities that I have seen the kids enjoy.
