I have the Nada Guide for the low and average retail value for my 5th wheel. Is there any way I can use that to calculate about what my trade-in value should be?
I'm not so sure. On my last FW, NADA said it was worth $16K. When I traded it in on my current model, the dealership offered me $26K. This was after they'd already given me a very low price on my new unit. I didn't want to appear too anxious, so I very calmly asked if we could close the deal and sign the contract. Moral of the story: NADA may or may not be accurate.
