7 pin connector water issue
I am wondering if anyone has seen this before and if I am doing something stupid. The 7 pin connector on the trailer has a dust cap and I keep it on but it seems to be causing more trouble than it is...

Forget the cap. Squeeze some dielectric grease into the plug and hang it facing down and forget about it.
Maybe also "tuck" it up under something nearby - (frame, propane tanks, whatever.)
