7-pole to 7-pole or 6-pole??

Hi all! Getting the final goodies together for the Jeep Liberty...

I'm trying to go with a 7 pin system so I can have battery charge on the Jeep, plus other functions if I decide to pull a trailer later (brakes, etc).

Having a hard time finding a coiled 7-pole to 7-pole cable (blade or round). Plenty of 7 to 6 out there. 6 would be plenty for the Liberty (lights, battery, and feedback from brakes if I wanted to put a light in the RV).

Any recommendations?

(Also, comments on 7-pole blade vs round??)

Thanks in advance for any insight!

  • Look at Hopkins coiled cords in Amazon. They have a lighted end on them so you can see when they're making connection.

I use the 7 / 4 cord because I installed extra bulbs (Road Master kit) in my Wrangler tail lights that allows me to totally by-pass the Jeep's electrical system.
